About Dylan

Dylan and MorganDylan has always been interested in human beginnings. Not anthropology, but consciousness development, infant development and where we begin.

Beginning as a professional childcare worker, she realized that infants know far more than our culture gives them credit for. This began a journey that took her to becoming certified as a doula 15 years ago, and then finally to her Masters in Clinical Counseling from the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute, specializing in Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology. She now helps adults and infants identify and resolve trauma originating at or before birth. For more information about how Dylan helps parents and babies, go to her website What Your Baby Knows.

Dylan has been a member of the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health since 1991 and has studied with William Emerson, Ray Castellino, Wendy Anne McCarty, Peter Levine, and Jenny Wade.

When not working Dylan enjoys spending time with her daughter Sidra (12) and her lovable Newfoundland dog, Morgan, in Wenatchee, Washington. She enjoys the outdoors and watching dvd’s, writing, reading novels, singing and has a passion for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Firefly.

  1. Well. I actually have a WordPress blog, too… but OpenID logs me in automatically with my HSP blog as a return link. I’ll be back, even if I have subscribe to your blog in a “roundabout” sort of way…

Thanks for stopping by my StumbleUpon site!
